For Authors

Wrote a book? Let it travel with us.

Terms, Plainly

The part nobody puts on the website.

Consignment agreements are usually vague until you're already invested. Here's ours, up front, so you can decide before you've spent an evening on it.

  • Your split: 70%

  • Typical opening quantity: 5 copies

  • Who owns the books: You do, until sold

  • Ending the agreement: Any time, in writing

  • Unsold copies: Returned to you

Our Stance on AI

No AI. Ever.

Every book, cover, and piece of promotional material we carry is made by a human hand. We don't stock AI-generated books, and we don't accept AI-generated cover art or marketing materials as part of a consignment agreement. If a machine wrote it, illustrated it, or built your promo copy, it doesn't belong on our shelf.

Consignment

Four steps, no surprises.

  • First — Fill out the consignment form. It takes about three minutes and there's no commitment in it.

  • Then — We talk terms and quantity, and you get a written agreement before a single copy changes hands.

  • After that — You send an opening batch. Small on purpose — nobody should have a box of unsold books sitting in a back room.

  • Ongoing — Your book travels with us. We track what sells, tell you before you run out rather than after, and pay out on a set schedule.
